Details for: Sinking of H.M.S. Amphion


Historical Data:
H.M.S Amphion sank after striking a mine in the North Sea, at 06.30 on 6 August 1914. She sank after sinking the mine layer SMS K├Ânigein Luise, which had previously laid the mines in the area.
