Details for: Sinking of MV Alcides

MV Alcides was a 11,3000 ton Norwegian Motor Tanker. She left Bandar Abbas on the southern coast of Iran on the Persian Gulf on 14th July 1943, bound for Freemantle. She was torpedoed and sunk on 23rd July. Forty-nine of her crew were lost.
