Details for: Loss of Wellington III (Reg. X3336)


Historical Data:
Taking off at 1838 from Pershore for a practice bombing exercise, their Wellington III (Reg. X3336) strayed from its course and crashed on Carlside Fell near Bassenthwaite, 7 miles ENE from Cockermouth, Cumberland. All six crewmen were killed.
