Loss of Halifax II (Reg. BB364 NF-R)

While carrying out container dropping practice over Henlow Airfield, their Halifax II (Reg. BB364 NF-R) struck a tall factory chimney on the site of Arlesey brickworks, I mile SE of Henlow in Bedfordshire. All eight crewmen were killed.
