WINGED VICTORY ON ORB, LIGHTLY DRAPED AND HOLDING LAUREL WREATH IN EXTENDED LEFT HAND. SURMOUNTING PEDESTAL WITH ORIGINALLY THREE RELIEF PLAQUES. THREE STEPPED GRANITE PLINTH.

ORIGINALLY THREE RELIEF PLAQUES DEPICTING BATTLE SCENES AT GAZA, PIAVE AND ZEEBRUGGE. ONLY GAZA NOW REMAINS. REPLACED BY TWO INSCRIPTION PANELS. A PROPELLOR IN GOLD ABOVE THE RFC INSCRIPTION. CROSSED LAUREL BRANCHES ON ALL FOUR SIDES.
