SON OF GEORGE EATLY AND SARAH, HIS WIFE.
HE DIED AT PRETORIA THE 18TH JUNE, 1900, DURING THE SOUTH AFRICAN CAMPAIGN, AGED 20 YEARS.
THIS MEMORIAL ERECTED AT THE EXPENSE OF THE REGIMENTAL FUND. THE RT. HON. SIR ALFRED NEWTON, BART., LORD MAYOR
