Details for: Loss of Halifax II (Reg. W7913 DY-C)


Historical Data:
Taking off at 0145 from Pocklington for a mission against Frankfurt, their Halifax II (Reg, W7913 DY-C) was shot down by a night-fighter piloted by Oberleutnant Ludwig Meister (I./NJG4) and came down between Resteigne and Grupont, near Rochefort, Belgium. All eight crewmen were killed.
