Details for: Convoy SL 150/MKS 41 and the sinking of HMS Alphodel

HMS Asphodel was a Flower Class Corvette which, on 9th March 1944, was in Escort Group B4 of convoy SL 150/MKS 41 when she was torpedoed by U-Boat U.575 (Boehmer) at 0130 about 390 miles west north west of Cape Finistere. Five survivors of a crew of 97 were resciued by HMS Clover.
