Historical Data:
HM Yacht Viva II was a yacht, requisitioned and commissioned as an anti-submarine vessel. She was escorting convoy Sapper travelling from Falmouth to Milford Haven, Captain Blomfield was in command, when, at 1.30 in the morning, she was hit by bombs from a HE115 from 1/K.Fl.Gr 406 off North Cornwall with the loss of 21 lives. There were eight survivors.
