Details for: Suspected sinking of HMS Unique

Historical Data:
HMS Unique, a U class submarine. She left Holy Loch for a patrol of the Bay of Biscay on 10th October 1942 and was never seen again. HMS Ursula was in the area on the 10th and reported hearing underwater explosions but the Germans made no claims to her sinking. She was formally reported overdue on 24th October 1942 when she failed to arrive at Gibralter. 34 men were reported missing, presumed killed.
