On the right are listed the individual events and incidents, such as battles or air raids. For each conflict the total number of casualties are given, whereas for each event or incident the names of those who died are listed in alphabetical order.

Details for: Air raids on Saturday 19th April 1941


Historical Data:
Saturday 19th April 1941. 712 bombers, the largest number used so far in the war, attacked London causing considerable damage and loss of life. More than 1,200 people were killed and 1,000 left seriously injured. A number of properties were damaged in Islington. Carlsbad Street, Great Percy Street, Pembroke Street, Poet's Road, Rotherfield Street and Foxham Road were hit with the loss of 17 lives.
