Historical Data:
Wednesday 6th November 1940. Few daylight raids were made, but night-time attacks started early - at 1800 hours. Much of the country was targeted, especially London, Kent, Sussex, the Midlands and the southwest. In London, 88 people were killed and 47 died elsewhere. A number of properties were damaged in Islington. Mayville Street, Radford House Shelter. Matthias Street, Radford House on George's Road, Cross Street and Hamilton Par were hit with the loss of 21 lives.
