Details for: Air raids on Tuesday 5th November 1940


Historical Data:
Tuesday 5th November 1940. Good weather led to a number of raids this day. The majority of the raids were against coastal towns and convoys, but by night London was again attacked. Numerous small scale raids resulted in 25 deaths in London and 43 elsewhere. A number of properties were damaged in Islington. King Square was hit with the loss of four lives. The Luftwaffe lost five aircraft this day.
