Historical Data:
Sunday 20th October 1940. Some attacks penetrated as far as London during the day but mostly at night. London, Birmingham and Coventry were the main targets. 89 people were killed in London and 62 elsewhere. A number of properties were damaged in Islington. Bavaria Road, Eagle Court Shelter, Halfmoon Crescent and Wilton Square, New North Road were hit with the loss of 15 lives. The Luftwaffe lost ten aircraft this day.
