Details for: Air raids on Wednesday 2nd October 1940


Historical Data:
Wednesday 2nd October 1940. Intermittent day raids of small groups of aircraft caused some damage to south London. At night, official reports describe the enemy aircraft activity as the quietest since September 7th. A number of properties were damaged in Islington with the loss of three lives. There was a fatality near St. Stephen's Church, Canonbury.
